Let’s celebrate motherhood with some lovely, creative, and useful Mother’s Day gift ideas! My first suggestion is one of my favorites…

Although I’m a night owl, I try to find time in the mornings to read Scripture, and isn’t it nice to greet the day with an uplifting verse to carry you through? This Mother’s Day, give mom a lovely Bible for study or church!

I know many of my readers are women of faith who would love to have a pretty and compact Bible to keep by your side. I have never seen prettier Bibles than the newest Bloom Collection Bibles from Zondervan!

The Bloom Collection Bibles have a soft Italian leather covers beautifully decorated with raised leather floral accents of red poppy, white lily, or pink daisy. With words of Christ in red, a ribbon marker, and less than an inch thick, this elegant Bible makes a thoughtful gift. The Bloom Collection Bibles come in two sizes – regular and compact.

Or what about a Bible Clutch? The sleek silver zippered cover keeps pages protected! Although small, this is a full Bible with both Old and New Testament. There’s even credit-card slots inside the front cover, and Bible Study Helps guides in the back. Another smidge of room inside the zipper for a pen would have been nice, but there’s no space as this is quite a compact edition! Perfect for your purse or diaper bag!

Zondervan carries a wide range of study, daily reading, and youth / children’s Bibles, as well as nonfiction and fiction books, such as my favorite The Jesus Storybook Bible I shared with you last year!

WIN IT: TWO readers will win a Bloom Collection KJV Bible (first winner picks their choice White Lily or Red Poppy, 2nd winner gets the remaining design)! ARV $27.99. Enter in the Rafflecopter form below!

I lost my husband unexpectedly at the age of 47, two years ago, we were married for 28 years. It’s been a very long, lonely journey, having lost not only the love of my life, but family, friends, my home and almost everything I owned. I walked away from God and have just now opened my heart to him again. The poppy is my favorite flower and I would love to win the bible so that I can read it and feel God in my life again. Thank you for the opportunity. :)

If I won, I would give this Bible to my 6 year old and my 20 month old sweet granddaughters. I would help them wrap it up to give to their Mommy for Mother’s Day. Their Mommy is my wonderful daughter and I know she would love this Bible with either the Red Poppies or White Lily cover – both are lovely. :-)

I love the covers on these Bibles! I would probably keep it for myself or keep it to give someone in the future as I saw fit. It’d be great to take on vacation! And I love that it is KJV!

I would give this to my niece at her baptism. They are both pretty and girly and I like that it is a *real* Bible, not a 10 page version like most Bibles for gift-giving are.

I love the clutch because it zips so you don’t have to worry about pages getting ruined if you put it in your purse or bag or even store in the glove box in the care. What a great size and lovely cover…especially the blue clutch! I haven’t shopped for Bibles in a long time. This is such a great idea! It would be nice to have a smaller more compact Bible to bring along to activities at church where I might need a Bible, but don’t want to bring extra stuff…like pot lucks and baby showers. I will have to think about adding this to my “wish list.”

I would love to win a bible….I just finished college and my college bible is falling to pieces. My college bible has been there everyday for me and been my only constant through some rough times. I would love a new one to start this new stage of life…one that has an intact cover :)

I would LOVE to have this for my own…I have loved KJV for quite some time, but do not have one. I write all kinds of notes, etc. in my Bible, and my plan is to keep them all so that one day my daughters can see what I learned and experienced as it related to God’s Word. I would be THRILLED to win!!! :)

I was actually just baptized on March 4th (at 6:42pm), so I would keep this for myself. I am trying to get every version of the Bible and have really been burying myself in study and have joined several Bible studies at church. The pastors joke that I’m on a Jesus high :D
Thank you for the chance to win!

I would either keep this Bible for myself or give it to my mom for Mother’s Day. I grew up in a strong Southern Baptist home and I am raising my kids at the same church I grew up at. I love it there it is my second home! The Bible is very important to me and my family.

I would either keep it or give it to my mom. I think she would like the cover, and she prefers the KJV. I normally read the NASB…actually, I just got a new Bible for Christmas. My old one’s cover was coming off, and all the pages at the front and back were crumpled or falling out. :P My new one is a MacArthur Study Bible, and it’s been really nice so far. Loving the notes…my old one had some notes that could be a little bit sketchy, in my opinion. :)
