The other night I watched as if in slo-mo our toddler do a somersault on his bed and almost flip over the bed railing. He was supposed to be sleeping. I was nursing the baby too far away to do anything but gasp! Fortunately, he landed a perfect somersault but not before nearly giving this mama a heart attack!

I wish I could wrap him in bubble wrap!

Instead, Joovy sent me a cool new product to review (at no charge) that is much more awesome than bubble wrap! It’s the Joovy Noodle helmet! A bike helmet for babies and young children.

Designed for children ages 1-4, the Noodle is great for bikes, trikes, ride-on cars, scooters, even bike trailers!

This helmet is sleek and chic like all Joovy products I’ve tried. There’s a dial in the back that allows for easy adjustment of the helmet to fit as your child grows.

The Noodle seems to be a comfortable helmet with 14 air vents, bug mesh, and extended visor. As a bike rider (and fellow helmet wearer myself), I know one area that always bothers me is the under chin strap…well, on the Noodle, there’s a soft and squishy pad that will keep little chins from getting chaffed. I love this feature!

Kids will love to pick from five bright colors to suit their style. I love how our Greenie helmet matches the Joovy Tricycoo!

Teaching children to gear up safely can’t start too early! In fact, to me (and Joovy) it’s just a part of parenting to make sure our kids are safe – and that they understand basic safety precautions.

Face it, you can’t keep kids from moving around like crazy. And I guess bubble wrap isn’t exactly practical! So get a Joovy Noodle!

Joovy: Family-run. American business. Practical products. High quality. Specializing in babies and kids. You can purchase the Joovy Noodle helmet online for $29.99. Don’t forget Joovy has strollers, playards, bikes, highchairs, potty seats, and more! (PS: Check out my guest post on the Joovy Blog – it’s about potty training!).

Thanks to Joovy for sending me an item for review at no charge. All opinions are 100% my own.

I love the knob on A’s helmet. I’ve seen something like this years ago but have forgotten who made it. I’m going to pin this one so I don’t forget.

Love how adjustable it is! I picked up a Cars helmet the other day and P loves it!
