A Honey Gift Guide

I’ve been obsessed with honey these days! And rightly so as September is National Honey Month, and honey is such a wonderful raw food to celebrate! To wrap up this series, I’m sharing some more great products made with honey. This honey gift guide might help you pick out a unique gift for a friend, or replace some of your own daily products with more healthful versions!

Since honey is the only raw, unprocessed sweetener found in nature, and the only sweetener that has flavor (not just “taste”), it makes for a great base for a host of amazing (and delicious!) products!

A Honey Gift Guide

Honey Tasting Activity With KidsHoney Tasting Party Kit – Let’s start with the one I’ve already talked about: Red Bee makes this delightful Honey Tasting Party Kit. Yes, you too can learn to taste honey like a sommelier! Included are 4 glass jars of Limited Harvest Honey (the hexagon shaped jars are delightful!). Also, a set of 8 Honey Score Cards where you and your guests can mark the color of the various honeys and their distinctive flavors and compare notes!

Don’t forget to check out our experience using this Honey Tasting Party Kit in my post: a honey tasting activity with kids! We had so much fun! Red Bee also has a host of other gift packages for you to browse as well. Or if you’re in Connecticut, visit Red Bee Honey for a tour or class.

Honey Gift Guide Honeydew Beverages

Honeydrop Beverages – Really wow people at your next party with these unique flavor pairings. Honeydrop makes lemonades with unique flavors like Charcoal, Lavender, Basil, Matcha, Tumeric, Apple-Ginger, Kale, Cayenne and more! Plus, there a tablespoon of raw, medicinal grade Manuka honey in each bottle! Manuka honey is often called “nature’s antibiotic” and people even say a daily dose of this honey helps their allergies and other symptoms (not medical advice!). Honeydrop helps you easily get that daily dose!

Honey Gift Guide Nature Nates

Nature Nate’s Gift Packages Honey & Honey on the Run – I love the mission behind Nature Nate’s: committed to a higher calling: serving God by serving you, and helping you and your family live healthy and abundant lives. In addition to providing raw, unfiltered, unprocessed honey (as nature intended) directly from American bees, Nature Nate’s has a few fun products to consider. Like their printed honey gift tins, which are perfect for tucking a bottle or honey bear of delicious raw honey into and gifting to a friend! Prints for fall and Christmas are out right now! Tins include a 16 ounce bottle of honey.

Also, a box of Honey on the Run makes a great gift (or a great addition to your own pantry!). Tuck one of these little packets into your lunch bag or purse, and you’ll always have a sweet flavoring to add to coffee, tea, and other foods when dining out. Or for a little energy burst on a long run or bike ride! No more processed sugar packets or questionable honey for you! honey gift guide

Good Medicine Beauty Lab – With locally sourced ingredients, these handmade skincare products are formulated to be “bioavailable,” meaning your body knows what to do with the ingredients. Handmade in the wild deserts of Southern Utah.

  • Honey Dew Youth Serum – The serum lightly hydrates and firms, giving strength to your skin, reducing lines and wrinkles, and stimulating collagen production. A porous mask, it stays on all day to create a shield from free radicals and cane even help reduce acne flare-ups. Made with essential oils and freshly juiced organic superfoods.

Wildcraft Organic Chamomile Honey Makeup Remover – This product is an oil cleanser for removing facial makeup, but can cleanse the entire face too! Handmade in small batches, it calms and rejuvenates with the healing power of chamomile and honey.

Stoneware Honey Pot from Beehive Handmade – Beautiful for the table, the matte while glaze features a raised bee design. The simplicity of this motif coordinates with just about any kitchen decor. The wooden handle lifts to reveal an integrated wooden honey dipper! Handmade in Bristol, Rhode Island, this pot holds 12 ounces of honey.

Aren’t each of these items lovely for gift giving!? Or maybe you need something a little special to treat yourself! Either way, honey comes with amazing flavor and supports good health, so you can’t go wrong!

I have to check out Rodale's! I love making gift baskets with food, and it would be fun to do one with a honey theme - so many good ideas here!

Our family loves honey too - and we eat it almost daily!

One of our favorite simple snacks to make has just 3 ingredients - peanut butter, honey, and dry milk. Roll into balls, refrigerate...and DONE! :)
