Create a cozy corner with kid’s lounger from Brentwood Home

Sponsored post.

Sometimes I feel like I’m just tripping over my two little boys around the house. How is it that kids seem to gravitate to a doorway,  stairway, or other high traffic area to plop down and play!? So I recently have been creating activity corners, nooks, and stations where they can play. Here’s how to create a cozy corner for rest or reading with the kid’s lounger from Brentwood Home!

Create a cozy corner with kid’s lounger!

My boys have a tendency to strew books hither and yon in our house. I love how much they love reading,  but I need to contain the clutter,  for my sanity and the books’ safety!

I cleared out a corner by a bookshelf and placed a little blanket from their baby years down for a decorative touch. And, let’s face it: nostalgia!

Next, I wedged in our new kid’s Venice Lounger from Brentwood Home with the blanket peeping out beneath. I have long wanted a “bean bag” style chair for the kids, and in the Venice Lounger, I got something even better! The insert is a plush memory foam just like Brentwood’s luxurious mattresses! So it really cushions you while you’re hanging out, instead of “slipping and sliding” like a “bean” chair would do. It is so comfortable for the kids (or ME!) to sack out on for reading, drawing, snacking, or a moment of stillness.

The soft slipcover is removable and machine-washable – so no worries if the kids have a little spill! There’s even a sturdy handle sewn onto the top of the cover, so you (or the kids!) can move the Lounger around to wherever it is needed!

Brentwood Home also sent us a Lilypad Kids pillow,  perfect for making a back rest for our Lounger! It’s slimmer design and medium support makes it a great choice for sleep too, because it’s designed to be just right for kids.

This pillow though. So incredibly fluffy and soft with latex and kapok filling, making it hypo-allergenic. The organic cover has a calming grid pattern that will blend nicely with nearly any decor – or, throw a pillowcase over it if you like!

In our new cozy corner, I added a basket to hold favorite books or activities, so they can lounge without a lot of ups and downs. My boys jumped right onto this lounger when it arrived, and have pretty much not left it alone since then! They love the feeling of just flopping down for a spell to read or chill out!
