Easy Sticker Mosaic Craft for Toddlers ~ Orb Factory Review

Another great gift idea for toddlers is to get them a craft kit. Parents will thank you on that rainy day when they just need to whip out a fast activity so they can have some peace and quiet while they make dinner or get some chores done!

Orb Factory My First Sticker Mosaics are sticker mosaic craft kits for toddlers. They come in a range of skill levels and themes – from princesses and Fancy Nancy (which I LOVE!), to vehicles and pets! Curiosity Kits for older children let kids make things like jewelry and pretend-play props!

We received the My First Sticky Mosaics Vehicles kit for our son’s birthday bash, and we’ve been having fun creating the mosaic pictures included. Five different images, and hundreds of foam stickies!! It’s for ages 3+, but as long as I help him out, my son has fun!

We have been looking for activities to reinforce fun with shapes and color recognition, and these mosaic crafts have been perfect. He also loves them because he’s good with shapes, so he gets a lot of kudos for recognizing all the shapes! His little fingers DO have some trouble with the smaller sticky pieces (because this is a toy above his age range), but that’s where my help comes in!

Here we are creating the train mosaic, in honor of his train birthday party!

I like how kids can do a portion of the mosaic and put it away for later – it’s an easy craft to take out for just 5-10 minutes, but pack up quickly when you have to move on!

Orb Factory craft kits are available online and in retail stores (I just saw them at Old Navy of all places!). Kits range from iPad apps for $2.99 up to larger kits for about $24.99, so there’s something for everyone!

What are your favorite (easy!) crafts for toddlers? Do you go with premade kits, or gather your own materials?

DISCLOSURE: I was sent a product for review. All opinions are 100% my own.

It depends! Sometimes something easy is better and other days we pull everything out and just go nuts!
