Father’s Day Gift Guide: Children’s Art Project Silk Lion Necktie

Guess what Dad’s getting for Father’s Day? If you said, “A tie,” then you’re right!

Ties are probably the most gifted item for men, especially at Father’s Day – we all like our dads to look sharp in a new tie, right? What makes a tie a great gift year after year is a) Dads always need a tie upgrade and b) now you can give back to a great charity with your tie purchase!

The Children’s Art Project (CAP) at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, is a heart warming source for gifts that give back. They generate revenue to enhance patient services through products created with children’s art.

Sales of young cancer patients’ original artwork on gift items, has returned more than $29 million to programs that benefit cancer patients and their families. You’ll find so many gift ideas at CAP, like apparel, stationary, jewelry, tabletop decor and more! Here’s a few cool items I spotted:

Check out the festive silk Lion Necktie ($35 + S&H) my hubby will be sporting this Father’s Day! I think the colors are striking and the lion artwork is visually appealing!

BUY IT: Give back to charity with your gift-giving this Father’s Day! Ties and other gift items can be purchased online (www.childrensart.org), through mail order catalogue and at select retail outlets throughout the country.

WIN IT: One reader will win a tie from CAP – a $35 value! Enter in the Rafflecopter form below!
