Hubby and I used to love getting away to bed and breakfasts.
The charming features of each home, personalized touches, and a delicious breakfast made for a great stay no matter where we traveled (and we’ve been in B&B’s from the East coast to the West coast to the Caribbean!).
Most B&Bs don’t allow children, so we haven’t stayed at one in several years. Sometimes I like to recreate that warm and cozy morning feeling by preparing a hot breakfast for the family. It’s a welcome departure from cold cereal and toast!
Sometimes, I make a baked apple crisp, and other times, blueberry pancakes. Of course, I’m happy to have a little help from a pre-packaged pancake mix like Shiloh Farms Sprouted Pancake and Waffle Mix!
I’ve been cooking and baking with my Shiloh Farms review products and couldn’t be happier. I’m finding substituting Coconut Sugar is helping us reduce our dependency on refined white sugar, and I like to halve my wheat flour use with Almond Meal to reduce gluten.
I know maple syrup is a good natural alternative sweetener, but so is Raw Honey! We spread our Raw Alfalfa Honey from Shiloh Farms on our pancakes, and the taste was amazing and different from the norm. Welcome to Julie’s B&B, everyone! (In a different life… that might be what I’d do…).
Shiloh Farms carries a organic and all natural baking products on their website. I find their prices on organic and all natural products to be quite reasonable…and even MORE so if you the promo code BLOGGERJULIE for 30% off! (Now through August 31).
Thanks to Shiloh Farms for sending products for review! All opinions are 100% my own.
