It’s a nightlight. It’s a toy. It’s KINDERGLO!
I had seen these Kinderglo’s on another review blog and knew I had to find out what these nightlights were all about. I mean, what is the big deal about a kid’s nightlight, right?
Okay, after having our Kinderglo for about a month now, let me tell you – these are a BIG deal! Our son loves his Kinderglo moose. He looks for it every morning when he gets up. He loves to carry it around with him. Poor thing gets banged all over the place, but it holds up!
He loves to point out the moose’s nose and ears (although sometimes he gets the ears and antlers confused!). At night, he points at the Kinderglo until I turn the light on for him.
I love to nurse my baby at night by the softly shifting light of the Kinderglo. I just like saying “Kinderglo” – it’s such a peaceful word, don’t you think? It makes me ready to fall asleep… maybe I need one for MY room!
There are several character choices with Kinderglo lights – I am hoping they add a cute turtle or fishy, because I know you beach lovers would like that! 🙂
Kinderglo nightlights have several settings, which are great for variety. You can set them to be lit up for just 30 minutes with auto turn-off. Or, you can set the light for continuous glow all night long.
The light can travel off the charging base (and it really holds a charge! I was impressed). Or you can leave the light on the charger and it will work from there.
You can set the light to rotate between blue, red, and green, OR you can set the light to stay on one color for the duration. Personally, the red is a little other-worldly, but my husband thinks it’s the coolest color ever! I enjoy the blue and green because they are very calming.
Other cool features – because it’s portable, your baby could take it to bed with them, or on a nighttime car ride. The non-toxic plastic is smooth and soothing to touch. And the light never gets hot, so Kinderglo’s are very safe!
Okay, so maybe you’re thinking $25 for a nightlight? I thought the same until I realized how absolutely fun these lights are for kids. And because they do double duty as a toy, it’s like two for one! This is one toy that is worth the splurge!
