DAD’S Log: The Transformer!

No…not robots in disguise…but our Phil & Ted’s Stroller. I call it the “Transformer.” A lot of time and energy went into choosing a stroller. I am sure all of you have done the same. What sold us on the the Phil & Ted’s were two things:
  1. 1. Ease of use. Just a couple quick buttons and boom…it collapses and locks into place to put into the car. Then one little press and pow…it unlocks and unfolds, ready to go. Not much fuss. Fits our on-the-go lifestyle.
  2. 2. Versatility. This was big. It has several settings for the child to lay flat or inclined. But more important for us was the following.
A) The Phil & Ted’s Peanut bassinet can be strapped in for a mobile sleep/changing station. This was awesome when we brought our child home the first few weeks. We could roll him into any room we were in or amused him by doing laps in our house.
  • B) Our Chicco car carrier can be strapped in with the purchase of a couple of adapters. This helped tremendously because we did not have to wrestle Asher out of the car seat and put him in the stroller, especially when he was asleep. Just pop the Chicco out of the car and set into the Phil & Ted’s..strap down and you’re ready to go.
C) Expandability – The P&T Sport Buggy expands for carrying two…for expanding families. Eventually, kids…eventually we will have another child and the Phil & Ted’s has second seat adapter…which is part of the reason our original blog title went out the door.

Well there were actually three things.

3. Color. My wife LOVES red…so that was important too.

Oh, one more thing…there is a safety strap to loop around your wrist…you know in case you “let go” for some reason. Try to remember that you have it on before you reach for something or try to do something quickly…there is only so much strap. Not that anything like that happened to me…um, or my wife…I’m just saying.

Here’s our baby enjoy a trail walk in the P&T Sport Buggy!
