Do you protect your computer?

This post brought to you by Carbonite. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don’t have the best luck with computers. I think every computer of mine has died a strange and quick death. At precisely the moment I needed it most. Of course.

There’s that near heart attack phase. Then the unintelligible babbling whilst pacing frantically around the house. Then the frantic googling of info, calling, and scheduling of computer repair.

Not to mention when my computer was in the repair shop, they had to keep it for over a week – much longer than I anticipated. I could not access my files for that entire time. As you can imagine, my blogging work came to a screeching halt. And I was so frustrated!

It doesn’t have to be this way. If you protect your computer files, you don’t have to stress about losing important information.

Carbonite Online Backup

There are many ways you could back up your files, but the most comprehensive I have found is Carbonite. I used a free trial edition of their computer backup program earlier this year and really found it to be quite easy.

Carbonite provides secure and automatic backup of files on PCs or Macs. Whether it’s your music, emails, documents, or pictures, you can safely store these important files in case of a crash. The files go to a highly secure data center. Working in the background, Carbonite will do a backup whenever you are connected to the Internet!

Once you’re backed up, you can access your files anytime, anywhere there is Internet. iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android or Blackberry Smartphone compatible. Now doesn’t that give you peace of mind?

Anyone who does a significant portion of their work online should back up their files. I’m definitely considering budgeting Carbonite into my blog business expenditures!

Right now, if you decide to use Carbonite online backup, get anytime-anywhere-access for $59/year. Try it free for 15 days without entering credit information. If you decide to buy, use DISCOUNT CODE: BLOGAD to get the first two months FREE with purchase.
