Enhancing Routines with Gymboree Play & Music Classes

Will your kids be riding the big yellow school bus this year or do you still have another year or two of kids at home?

Our boys will be home with me this year doing pre-kindergarten work, but I’m always on the lookout for extra-curricular activities for them to get new experiences.

This is a partnered post with Gymboree Play & Music and I received compensation for sharing. All opinions are my own.

If you have kids home with you this school year, I have the perfect suggestion for keeping them engaged and active. If we had one closer, I’d definitely be checking out Gymboree Play & Music classes.

Gymboree play music classes

Even though we don’t have a Gymboree Play & Music near us, they post great play activities on their Facebook page. Here’s one I love for back-to-school:

Build confidence and exercise creativity

If you are lucky enough to have a Gymboree Play & Music near you, check out their interactive classes for kids birth to 5 years. I love the sound of these Gymboree Play & Music classes:

Play & Learn – hands-on activities and problem-solving games, set up in seven levels to fit different age ranges.

Music Class – singing, dancing, and instruments instill a love of music and expose students to tone, melody, rhythm, and beat.

Art Class – fosters self-expression through hands-on painting, sculpture, collage and even dramatic play.

Sports Class – interactive games build children’s flexibility and confidence as well as positive attitude toward physical activity.

Family Class –lets everyone get together in mixed-age groups of siblings and friends.

School Skills – perfect for preparing children for school by developing cooperative and communication skills.gymboree play music classes

Play & Music Classes – perfect for preschoolers and new moms!

For homeschoolers like myself, these classes sound like a great opportunity to get out of the house for a morning of fun. The variety of options let you take advantage of another teacher’s expertise to supplement and round out your homeschooling program.

If you’re a mom of a newborn or baby, these classes would be a great place to meet local moms with kids your child’s age, while your baby is having fun learning! I strongly encourage new moms to make that effort to get out and about with their babies as soon as you can, because it’s a huge emotional and physical boost!

Everyone can take a free class!

My 22 month old would like the music class. He loves to dance to music and tries to sing along.

We love doing crafts even if it is just coloring that is always a it in my house with all three of my kids. We also like walking to the local park which is about two blocks from the house.
