Our little baby turns two in a month. He’s been such a baldie for so long, we’ve pretty much forgotten that eventually he’d need a haircut!
But as those little blonde wisps started curling up the back of his neck, we knew it was time for a trip to Auntie’s to get a professional ‘cut.
His brother’s mop needed a big trim, so we let him go first, because the little guy wasn’t sure about that big chair and shiny scissors. Even if it was his auntie! He needed some cuddling on Mima’s lap while big brother had his turn.
Now… when his brother got his first cut several years back (around 18 months!), there was a lot of crying involved. But little brother sat pretty stoic through the entire event. Even sneaking a small smile for the camera (and he is a serious one!).
The curls are shorn. He’s looking all big boy now. (sniff!). And… looking more and more like big brother too!
Julie, I still remember so clearly when A got his first cut and you said goodbye to his curls and his baby look. E looks so cute and I agree he does resemble his big brother.
