Soft Landing Dipper Bowl Review

You can see from how my little dude eats,
that I certainly need an extra hand!
I love food. So naturally I love trying out all the gadgets that come with baby feedings. But sometimes, feeding a baby gets out of hand. Well, more like I could use more hands.
One to hold the bowl.
One to hold the spoon.
One to keep baby’s hand from pulling the spoon and splattering food.
One to wipe baby’s mouth when he drools food.
I recently got to review The Soft Landing’s Baby Dipper Bowl and Utensil Set. This bowl gives me another set of hands! Just kidding. But, seriously, you do only need one hand, because the bottom of the bowl has a non-slip base to keep it firmly on the table. I loved the way the interior is contoured to angle food towards one side, helping you guide food onto the spoon (or fork, both come with this set). This saves you from having to steady the bowl. A huge plus when feeding a baby who loves to flail his arms about and grab at everything! I loved how this bowl was easy to clean – no food stuck in ridges or anything with this bowl!
And this bowl is BPA, Phthalate, and Lead free! My husband and I decided we need to reduce the amount of plastics we use for foods, because so many leach chemicals. Do you know how HARD that is? Plastics are so convenient. So, since glass or ceramic aren’t always options, it was great to find this Dipper Bowl set to use for the baby and know there are no harmful chemicals in it.
I wish this bowl set also gave you another pair of eyes. Then I’d be able to feed my baby and do this:
Just kidding!
About the Company:
I think the mission behind this company is fantastic! The Soft Landing works to make mom and dad’s lives easier by offering safe products for families. Founded by an RN, this company helps parents find non-toxic alternatives for feeding, bath, toys, skincare, even products for adults! The Soft Landing confirms all products they sell are free of BPA, PVC, phthalates and melamine, as well as cadmium and lead. They really have such a wide range of safe products for your children – I spent so much time browsing their site and making plans for Christmas shopping!
Their ongoing research findings are also published on The Soft Landing Blog, which is a great resource for keeping current with new products and recalls. So instead of spending your time hunting down safe baby gear, you can lavish your time on your children!
Buy it: You can purchase the Baby Dipper Bowl and Utensil Set ($9.95) online, or check out any of their fantastic “sampler” packages (they sell Sophie in a sampler with other BPA free teethers!).
Win it: One of my lucky readers will win a free Baby Dipper Bowl and Utensil Set, thanks to The Soft Landing!

DISCLOSURE: The Soft Landing sent me product for review purposes. The opinions here are my own honest thoughts based on my experiences.

Became a Fan of the site publicly. I worry a ton about plastics. I have been making sure all plastics are BPA free at least. [email protected]

I'm not a big fan of plastics. The plastics that we do have we make sure are as safe as they possibly can be.wdwfla at gmail dot com
