Mom Gets Organized! Rubbermaid Bento Boxes Review

In a former life, I was an organization junkie! I truly love organizing.

However, my wake does not lie smooth – trailing me, is a stream of toys, silk flowers, toilet paper streamers, and anything else a 20-month-old can pull off the shelves! Cleaning up the house is only half the job; cleaning up after I clean up is the other.

One area that hardly gets touched these days is my craft area. I want to make it look nice but I make do with having all my materials in one place. So I was thrilled when Rubbermaid sent me their newest item to review: Bento Boxes and Toppers!

These boxes are great. They are my most favorite color: a deep red Paprika! Two other colors Loose Linen and Chadwick (a checkered khaki) are also available. I think people will love these boxes so I think Rubbermaid should definitely branch out into more colors!

I love the fabric covering – really dresses them up. I love this idea for using the Bento Boxes in a living room.

The lids can fit on as just a lid, or flip the lid to create a tray, which sits inside the box. I like the tray feature, because I can store items inside the box, and display items I use frequently on top!

What sets these boxes apart are the flexible dividers. Instead of bits and pieces that get lost, the Bento Boxes have nifty pop out dividers. With a flick of a finger, pop out the divider on one or both sides to create sections.

Is there anything not to love? Well, the only complaint is that I don’t have more of them! Check out how great my craft desk looks now!

I’m so happy to have a classier look to my crafting area! Thanks to Rubbermaid! Check out Rubbermaid’s Blog or Video library for more home organizing tips!
