It’s possible my pajama wardrobe is more fashionable than my regular clothing.
No denying, I love pajamas! I ask for new ones every Christmas and birthday. I think I sleep better when wearing comfortable AND pretty clothing. And yes, I often change into pajamas JUST to nap! It feels better!
So I’m happy to share a great clothing line with a fantastic pajama collection! Yala Designs features bamboo clothing for the whole family. The story behind their family company makes me smile… you know how it’s icky to sleep in a hotel bed when you’re not sure how clean the room is? Well, Yala originally started with one product: the Dreamsack – a bamboo sack you lay on any bed (or outside) and sleep in, knowing you are sleeping in a clean space! I need one of these for traveling! (Plus, bamboo is soooo comfortable!).
Yala has since expanded their line from bedding to family fashions with a lovely array of styles and colors. If you’ve never worn bamboo clothing, you are missing out! Not only is it sustainable, but it’s breathable, silky smooth, and lightweight!
Yala Designs sent me their lovely Cleo gown for review, which has been perfect for the hot summer weather we’ve been having. The peach color is summery and cool. And even though I am eight months pregnant, it’s stretchy enough to go over my stomach. It’ll be perfect for nursing later on too!
I love the feminine, simple details of the gathered bust and wide straps – it’s listed in their nightwear section, but I could see this as a beach coverup too! I can throw on a pair of leggings underneath to add a layer of warmth to bring this gown through chilly spring/fall seasons as well! And the Cleo gown comes in a rainbow of colors!
