When it comes to birthday parties, you may have noticed I like to get really into my themes! (car, train, tractor). But this year with two children, I needed a little help!
Great news for me: as part of the Moe’s Blogger Council, I received a complimentary catered party pack for the big baby’s first birthday! (Our oldest loves to shout “Welcome to Moe’s! when we eat at their restaurants!).
I’d already picked the party theme (Peter Rabbit in Mr. McGregor’s Garden) by the time I got the awesome news about a catered party. So although the fajita, burrito, and taco choices were tantalizing, I went with the Salad Bar choice, because it fit my theme. And really, it’s not much different than picking tacos or fajitas, you just get a taco bowl container! Which are really cool for babies to hide their whole head in!
Having our party catered by Moe’s took the burden of planning and prepping a meal for twenty people off my shoulders. I talked to the store manager a week beforehand, and then the food arrived right on the dot at 4:30!
I was rather impressed with all the well-packaged food that arrived. Plates and utensils too! We had about eighteen people show up for the party, and there was more than enough food to feed everyone and then some. In fact, we’ve had “Moe’s leftovers” twice! Yum. Everything was fresh and delicious!
The best part is that our one-year-old could eat a lot of the items from the Salad Bar, and everything was mostly cut small already!
The Salad Bar comes with taco shell bowls, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheese, jalepenos, fresh jalepenos, olives, cucumbers, and two kinds of sauce. Plus chips and salsa!
Moe’s had also sent an exciting party game pack for party entertainment!!
There was a paper tablecloth kids could color, more coloring sheets, maracas, crayons, balloons, bracelets, frisbees, and…. a piñata pre-filled with candy! Oh the piñata was the subject of so much intrigue in the weeks leading up to the party! Even the baby enjoyed trying to hit the piñata!
I’ll admit that the adults had more than our fair share of fun adding “Moe” to the beginning of everything. As in, “I’ll have some Moe salad, please,” and “You couldn’t find a Moe-cute baby than this one.” And so on. Because it’s Moe fun that way!
Truly, we enjoyed our party with Moe’s catering! And I’d love for some of my readers to enjoy a party too! Right now Moe’s Club Mini Moe’s is giving away TEN catered birthday party packages, complete with food for twenty people, favors, and decorations! You can enter to win by signing up for their Club Mini Moe’s! You’ll also be privvy to special news and offers from Moe’s if you sign up.
Who’d love a catered party (and easy prep/cleanup) for their next birthday!?
I am pleased to be part of the Moe’s Blogger Council and I received this catered party at no charge in exchange for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
This looks so good and what a great way to celebrate a birthday. I totally forgot I have baking pans to form these shells I haven’t used them yet, I must try it!
My teens and I love Moe’s! (They also love to shout, “Welcome to Moe’s” when we go there). Looks like you had a great party. I think Moe’s catering would be perfect for just about any get together. I know my kids would love to have a back-to-school bash with Moe’s.
I love the pics what a cutie!
That’s definitely the way to go! The taco bowls look way yummy!!
Oh how yummy that all looks! You are making me hungry! I hope to try their food sometime, now I need to!
Such cute pics! Happy belated 1st b-day 😉
It looks like you had a fun party. My sister raves about Moe’s! I really need to visit sometime soon since I’ve never been.
I love the photos of your son eating his Moe’s dish! That is adorable! And the food looks amazing too. I like to shout Welcome to Moes to embarrass my teens. lol
