AppleCheeks Cloth Diapers For Newborns!

Let’s review: I love AppleCheeks diapers!

I loved them for my 1-2 year old, and I love them for my newborn! When my son was about a year and a half I reviewed the size 2 AppleCheeks, and now I’m reviewing size 1. Here’s a diagram of the awesome features:

• Multi-option envelope diaper – Used as  pocket, the insert agitates out in the wash. Or, use as a cover and add inserts to customize your diapering.
• 2-size diaper – designed slightly larger than other diapers on the market, AppleCheeks will fit nicely over fitted diapers (like the Bum Covered Custom Fitted!).
• Super-absorbent diaper – the foldable soaker/insert is made with rayon from bamboo and organic cotton fleece. And elastics on the side, front, and back keeps moisture from leaking!

AppleCheeks diapers work wonderfully for newborns – here is my son at just three weeks with his size 1 AppleCheeks! I wish I had more of these in my stash!

I’ve never had a leak in my AppleCheeks – although I have not tested them overnight on my older son, they have been great overnight on my newborn!

I do think AppleCheeks side flaps feel a little “short” when I snap them on my sons. They always manage to fit, but I find myself pulling at the elastic to get the back tabs to come around to snap onto the front. I guess it’s a picky detail, because functionally the diaper are amazing, but I wish there was more room on the side snaps.

However, if you ever feel like your child is outgrowing their AC diaper too soon, you can get the handy side-snap extenders they make, which I am definitely planning to do, because I want to keep using my AppleCheeks as long as possible!
