I’ve officially been potty training with our son for… about 22 months. So, no, the 72 hour method didn’t work for us!
Granted, over half of this time has been working on night time dryness, which is more something you have to wait for the child’s body to be ready for… so it’s not quite as bad as it sounds!
Over this time I’ve tried out many potty training products including a variety of cloth training pants.
This past month, we received the EcoPosh recycled organic cloth training pant courtesy of Thanks, Mama cloth diaper store, and I couldn’t be happier.
My son is also partial to these cloth trainers. He calls them “my soft underwear.” And indeed, these are the softest trainers I have used on my babies yet.
My favorite features of the EcoPosh recycled organic cloth training pants are:
- Easy pull up style with wide comfortable elastic on waistband and legs.
- Looks so much like regular underwear – this is important for older children!
- Super soft inner lining – kids will love it!
- Organic fabrics – the outer layer is recycled water bottles (not organic, of course) plus organic cotton, while the absorbent layers include more organic cotton plus bamboo.
The EcoPosh recycled organic cloth training pants are not fully waterproof, but they do have a biodegradable TPU hidden lining so they will stall soaking through. This fact makes them a better choice for toddlers nearing the end of potty training who just need a little protection from small accidents.
Parents using the elimination communication method will also like these training pants because they come in a smaller 1T/2T size (good for as small as 25 pounds).
This is a training pant I want all five colors of…and not just for the colors!
