“I’m going to have to do WHAT?!!?!”
The first time I thought my baby boy had a temperature, I called my mom and asked what I should do. You can imagine what she said.
No way. Nuh-uh. Not me. I am not violating my baby’s privacy (never mind that I see a bare bum every time I change a diaper).
I admit I took my own temperature about twenty times when the Exergen Temporal Scanner first arrived. I found it very amusing. I think I drove my husband into hiding trying to take his temperature a dozen times too. Hey, scientific experiments require repeated testing, right? And baby… well, turns out he did not have a temperature that time. He was a bit harder to scan only because he kept wanting to follow the movement of the thermometer – he thought it was a game! It was pretty funny! I felt a little “Men in Black” waving that wand around taking everyone’s temperature. “I’m not a doctor, but I play one on my blog!”
Then last week the whole family pretty much was sick, and I got to try out the thermometer – for real. I had a temp of 99+ and so did baby – although I was told that is not really high for a baby. Fortunately, nobody spiked over 100, and we are all over our illnesses right now. But it was great to have the professional technology of the Exergen at hand (literally). It made checking our wellness so quick and easy.
Don’t you want one, too? It’s the perfect item for any parent, and would make a great baby shower gift!!
