We say I love you every time we part.
He does the dishes without being asked.
Throws the wet clothes in the dryer on his way out to work in the morning.
Sometimes sets up the coffee maker so I can get up and push a button for a hot brew.
He loves me in a thousand different ways.
Of course, on Valentine’s Day, it IS nice to be loved in the traditional ways too… like bags of my favorite Munson’s Chocolates in strategic places so I find them as I go about my morning.
He came home with flowers…
Took me out to an authentic Spanish dinner the Friday before because he knew I had meetings until 8:30 p.m. on Valentine’s (who SCHEDULES those things, anyway? Love-haters! LOL).
I can’t say I am always on my game lately, with our little cupid running around (sometimes we manage to keep clothing on him!).
For Valentine’s I always make him a card.
Get him his favorite candy: usually Swedish Fish. This year I made an extra special presentation!
It’s not always about the sweets… but being sweet is just how we love each other…

I'm definitely late to the party, so to speak, but I love the Swedish Fish bowl. That was so clever. Of course, it was nice of your hubby to remember you as well. :)

These are wonderful signs of affection. I really like the Swedish Fish presentation and the card was wonderful. And we never go out on actual Valentines day - too crazy. We met for lunch yesterday and it was wonderful. We haven't been out alone in the day in ages.
