When you’re breastfeeding… and this is something I was woefully ignorant of prior to giving birth… it will seem like your baby wants to nurse like crazy at night. Or that in the morning you are just-too-tired to change from your PJ’s when most of your day is going to be spent on the couch nursing.
So invest in a great pajama set or nightgown that will make breastfeeding comfortable and easy. Or, give an awesome set of nursing pajamas to a mom-to-be! They will thank you for it all through the night!
A great place to find nursing sleepwear (and bras, tank tops, and maternity clothing), is Glamourmom.com. I’ve been wearing their Glamourmom® Nursing Bra Nightgown for the past month and it is so comfy. I actually spent one entire day this summer living in this nightgown. Yeah, it was a total lazy day. I loved it.
The Nursing Bra Nightgown is made of the softest lightweight brushed cotton I’ve ever felt. It stops just short of flannel for softness. The nursing bra is built in, with a good support much like a sports bra (but without squishing you flat!).
Satin trim and a v-neck make this nightgown stylish as well as functional. The gown comes to knee length, so it felt like I was wearing a sundress. I would feel pretty comfortable wearing this at the hospital if I had just given birth. Throw a little cardigan on for visitors, and you’re all set!
As with all the nursingwear I’ve tried out for this event, this is a nightgown you’ll want to wear long after you’re done breastfeeding! I’d love to get the PJ pant set too (I have a love for pajamas of all kinds!).
Buy it: The Glamourmom® Nursing Bra Nightgown retails for $49.00 and is available online. They are well-known for their nursing tank tops which come in long sizes! I’m a fan! I’m definitely stocking up on this line of comfy clothing for nursing mamas!
Give to other breastfeeding moms with Glamourmom’s BOGO Donation Event! In celebration of National Breastfeeding Awareness Month, Glamourmom is sponsoring a ‘Buy One, Give One’ donation program (From August 1 thru August 31, 2011). Any purchase of a nursing bra tank made on http://www.glamourmom.com/ & www.glamoumom.co.uk during August will be matched and will be donated to moms in need. The donation goods will be dispersed domestically (lower income families) – in order to increase the overall breastfeeding rate. Glamourmom is partnering with non-profit organization Feed The Children for this event.

A nursing dress is a must for me, it is hot here so I frequently like to wear dresses especially around the house!

My daughter is expecting her first baby. I don't remember having such cute and functional nursing gowns when I was in her place. I would love to win this for her!
