My sister and I went tag sale-ing this morning. I haven’t been in ages, and I got a great haul!
An old wooden frame that I want to make into a chalkboard sign for our kitchen. ($.50)
A metalwork framed clock that I will hang outside next to our gazebo. ($5)
An antique wooden picture of an old typewriter. I love old typewriters. ($.50)
A toddler bike helmet. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice that part of the buckle was missing, but I’m hoping to be able to find a replacement buckle at the fabric store. ($3)
An old Scrabble game that I will use to make this cool idea I pinned to my Pinterest board. (Do you Pinterest?). And use the tiles to make magnets or other crafts. ($.50)
A wooden tray to organize the items I regularly keep on my kitchen table. (That item is already put to good use as you can see from above picture!) ($2)
A picture book, coloring book, and four movies. ($4.75)
Four painted chairs that I plan to strip and repaint in colors that better fit our decor. (my hubby just laughed as I have several strip-and-repaint projects in the works!). ($20)
All this for $35.50. A pretty good haul!! And an awesome time hanging with my sister!
Do you tag sale? What’s your best find?

I don't know the term tag sale either but I'm guessing like some kind of garage sale.
Too funny about the scrabble. I want to do that too!
Love the chairs.
