My sister has always jokingly called the toilet, “The Loo!” It’s so much more fun to say than “toilet” or “bathroom,” isn’t it?
As our son is slowly but surely getting used to potty time, we’ve encouraged him to make regular trips to “the Loo.” He was excited to see a new Loo show up in the bathroom!
The Joovy Loo Potty Chair is a great accessory for early potty trainers and beyond! ! It’s low profile is helpful for him, as his little legs are not quite long enough to comfortably get on the other ones. The slightly lower seat also prevents the chair from tipping over as he gets on and off. Plus, there is a non-slip base.
I love the all white, streamlined design of this seat. It makes for easy cleaning, because it is just two pieces, the seat and the bowl. The bowl has a high splash guard, again, much better for my son who is still figuring out the finer points of “aim!” I just lift off the bowl to clean it quickly, but if I am not quick enough and my son makes another attempt, not to worry, because the seat has its own bowl cavity that would catch anything!
The fact that there are no seams in either piece of the Joovy Loo again makes it easy to keep his Loo clean and hygienic for him!
I think having a new potty seat has renewed his interest in going potty, as we’ve had regularly successful “loo” moments … always followed by our unique “potty dance,” of course!

How much do you think having just the right potty seat affects potty training??

What's on the bottom of the potty? Fully enclosed? Does it slide easily or is there rubber? I have 3 bjorn potties and the issue with them with dd1 is that she was able to scoot on the potty. So... It became her mode of transportation!! (I called it the poop in scoot potty) And that led to her not crawling but scooting on her butt which is not friendly to cloth diapers, especially woolies. We're moving this month to a place that's mostly hardwood and dd2 will most likely figure out the scoot too if I don't figure something out!

I think something like this could really help with EC, too. Something to consider with #2. Although, you have so many cute diapers you might not want to speed things along.
