We’re planning to visit the A-MAZE-ING Water Exhibit at New York Aquarium!

We’re still talking about the lions, giraffes, bugs, and more from our recent trip to the Bronx Zoo last week! And… gearing up for more fun too!

Our next trip as Bronx Zoo Blog Ambassadors is actually to the NY Aquarium (Family passes get you into 4 zoos and the Aquarium in NY!). We’re excited to see the A-MAZE-ING Water Exhibit that just opened!

Here’s a few things we plan to catch about this exhibit:

• Walk through the Water’s Extreme Journey 1,500-square-foot maze, learning about how waterways get to the ocean
• Add to the Giant Community Mosaic – create our own mosaic tile to add to a large-scale work of art
• View the Model of a Local Watershed – to see how pollutants and run-off affect our drinking water and the ocean
• Explore the New York Seascape Interactive, to discover the diversity of marine life living in local waters (330 species of marine fish, 26 species of sharks and four species of sea turtles)
• View the Water-themed Art Exhibition, featuring multi-media artists celebrating the importance, vitality, and beauty of water.

Phew! I think that will be a fun-filled day, don’t you? The A-MAZE-ING Water Exhibit is open now until September 9th – plan your trip!

Plus, the Wildlife Conservation Society’s New York Aquarium is one of New York’s most-attended attractions, and I’ve never been, so I can’t wait to check it out!
