At two months.

Sweet baby of mine… two months blew by… it was sleepless mostly – well, for me!

You now weight 12 pounds, 10 ounces (yikes!), and are 23.5 inches long! Wow, tall boy (89th percentile!!)

You, on the other hand, are a good sleeper already. You take two to three nighttime feedings (10-ish, 1-ish, 4-ish)! You take long naps during the day… most of the time!

You have a habit of grunting and screeching like a Velociraptor when you lose your binky (yes, we give you a binky!).

You smiled clearly at me right around six weeks. Now you “ah-goo” and burble all the time, especially when getting your diaper changed!

You love to be held upright, over our shoulders. Your neck is strong and you like to look around everywhere.

You are, like your brother, a fussy nurser most of the time. Sigh. We’ll work on it! But your latch is great when you’re not getting in a fuss!

You enjoy the baby carrier, and we have been going on autumn walks in the stroller lately and you like that too.

You tolerate your older brother’s “love and affection” pretty well. But I think once you learn to move those arms, he’s going to have to watch out!

Pretty much you’re an easy baby.

We love having you here with us!

Great photos all around.

I love the "ah-goo" stage. I have a video of our daughter doing those on her blog and I will still go back and listen when I need a little pick-me-up.

Julie, he looks so big in that photo of you holding him. He may be a fussy nurser but I think you're feeding him well! Those stats were the size of our daughter at 6 months but about the same as our son at 2 months. Seems to me he's a pretty healthy little guy. Good job.

I love the 'tolerate' of A's love and affection part. That is so true.
