When he’s sleeping… and occasionally while he plays… he has unguarded moments when he looks for all the world like he’s still… my baby.

That soft roundness in his cheek. The pudgy legs. “Arm-bows” (elbows!) still dimpled.

But most of the time these days… he’s stretching – upward, out toward independence.

He can balance on one foot. Walk down stairs without holding on (but he’s still supposed to).

Run across the lawn with arms flailing and head ducked down.

Jump up and down without falling over.

Soon he’ll learn to ride a bicycle… do a somersault… maybe even cartwheels…

He’s growing. Into his own… and ever more deeply into our hearts.

While it’s hard to watch him grow out of his babyhood… I’m glad he’s growing into the lovely clothing from Tea Collection. Kid-friendly prints and styles that grow with your children. Sophisticated, yet playful. Sturdy fabrics, yet soft and comfortable-feeling. And with a cutting edge look that comes from their globally-inpsired designs – like the cool geometric City Biker Tee and toned-down neon Helsinki Fire Brigade Tee! And check out the boys in their matching Peli Stripe outfits!

Tea Collection clothing holds it value for me because their outfits last through several children (and the fickleness of most fashion and pop culture trends!). Check out their latest Nordic Design Collection (I love this summary of their Nordic Inspiration trip! And some downloadable coloring sheets!)!

Thanks to Tea Collection for providing items for review! All opinions are 100% my own!

Such a sweet post! I am shocked everyday that my son is almost 3. He was just my little infant yesterday it seems. My little guy has started doing somersaults, too cute!

This post may or may not have made me cry. Okay, I admit, it did. You are such an awesome writer! I wish I could put my feelings into such beautiful flowing words like you can!

This is perfectly written for this giveaway. I love how you incorporate your life into a giveaway. Now just a subtle mention but actual substance to your writing. Of course, you’re an English teacher. But still, you keep the quality high.

I sneak into my kids’ bedrooms every night and stare for a moment at them. I feel like I can almost see them growing in their sleep. Then I kiss their still soft cheeks and whisper “I love you” in their ears.

Wait until you’re putting E in A’s old clothes. It’s kind of a surreal experience.

I so know what you mean about our children looking like babies when they are asleep. They grow and change so quickly that it can really catch us off guard. I think since we as grown-ups aren’t changing and growing as much as our little ones do that that can make us even more surprised by our childrens’ constant changes and development.

The other day I was filing away some baby clothes and came across some outfits my 12 y.o. had worn. A few of them immediately had my mind flashing back to when my daughter was 18 months old and wearing the outfits. Now she is a young lady in Jr. High School. That is just too crazy.
