Fun and Practical Gifts for Foodies
Gorgeous reversible aprons for the home chef
When you entertain, stay stylish with MadMade Design reversible aprons! Tunic-style, these apron prints are so fun, it’ll look like part of your outfit! They currently have 14 print combos, like feathers, paisleys, and florals, and each apron is reversible, so you get two styles in one! (or, it’s perfect if you stain one side during cooking, you can just flip and be ready to greet guests!).
These aprons come in sizes, so you get get a good fit, and I’m thankful for the wide-should straps, b/c I always get a neck-ache from the halter-top styles. A full-width pocket holds your phone, glasses, or recipes.
Get one for yourself, or as a gift for a foodie friend or hostess! Bonus: MadMade Design aprons are made in the USA, and they donate a portion of every apron sold to Ceres Community Project – a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit that provides organic meals to low-income people who have life-threatening illnesses.

Core Bamboo carries a variety of cutting boards, bowls, trays, utensils and home decor! Find Core Bamboo on Amazon!
Novelty bakeware and cake kits
If you know a baking genius, I bet they’d love an update to their bakeware! Cake Boss Baking (you know, the Italian guy who makes the awesome cakes on that show? Yes, he has his own bakeware line!) has hundreds of lovely gift items. Mold cakes into stars, flowers, and more with heavy-duty carbon steel. The nonstick surface and rolled edges make cakes release perfectly with crisp edges.
The Covered Cookie Pan is perfect to bake-and-take cookies for parties; it preserves freshness (and keeps hungry hands at bay).
The Winter Cake Kit comes with five stainless steel cutters, stainless steel frosting/decorating tips and piping bags. You’ll feel like a pro decorator! Give the kit OR make a cake and give the cake!

Reusable food storage for sustainable cooking
Use Bee’s Wrap beeswax wraps for food storage and remove another plastic item from your life! These wraps are made with organic cotton muslin, beeswax, jojoba oil, and tree resin (they have a pleasant slightly sweet scent!).
Beeswax and oil have antibacterial properties to help keep food fresh. Hold the Bee’s Wrap in your hands to soften the material. Then wrap the material around a block of cheese or over a bowl. The wrap will stiffen up again in the fridge.
Clean with cool water and mild soap, air dry, and you’re ready to reuse! It’s old-fashioned, but it really feels so modern! What a unique gift for a foodie, right?

Quality ingredients for better baking
High-quality flavorings and extracts
I love to bake, so I know from experience quality ingredients make the best baked goods and treats. The foodies in your life will appreciate gifts of high-quality ingredients.
Nielsen-Massey Vanillas have been in my baking cupboard for years and lend their sweet flavors to all my cookies and goodies! Now they also carry coffee and chocolate extracts, real vanilla beans (delightful for flavoring and adding that speckled vanilla look!).
I’ve also been using their Vanilla Sugar in my coffee. MMmm…
Nielsen-Massey Vanillas are available at all fine food and kitchen retailers, and find Nielsen-Massey gift items on Amazon.com (affiliate link)

The best foodie related gift I ever received was my mixer that my husband gave me last year. Ever since we were married I have always used a hand mixer but dreamed of owning a stand up one. He gave me one in pink to honor my mom who had breast cancer. I use it all the time!
