Arbonne Baby Care Review

I asked my husband this weekend how he would describe me (as a blogger/writer goes) and he said I was an information hound. I’m always exploring products, finding new brands, reading the backstories of companies. I like to share what I find with you, my readers!

Sometimes, the information finds me! Recently, I connected with Katie, an independent consultant for Arbonne products. I had never heard of them before. Have you?

Arbonne, a Swiss company, has a little something for everyone – cosmetics, vitamins and supplements, anti-aging… Katie sent me their Baby Care set to try.

The Arbonne Baby Care line, is botantically-based (although not organic). I was especially interested because it is formulated for sensitive skin (and not just for babies!). We still battle rash and dryness with our baby’s skin, although the major eczema patches have disappeared. Thank goodness!

I especially liked the ABC Arbonne Hair & Body Wash – we used it in the bathtub, at the sink to wash hands, and even in his wipes solution. The light scent (very light) comes from natural citrus oils (orange and lemon) among other plant-based ingredients. The ABC Body Oil, which includes about 15 oils and plant based extracts, worked well in the wipes solution too.

We used the ABC Sunscreen SPF 30+ at the beach this weekend, and none of us got sunburned – so it worked (not all sunscreens have kept me from burning in the past!). The lotion absorbed well without being greasy! The main ingredient is of course zinc oxide. *Note, it does contain Oxybenzone, which I prefer to avoid, because there is some controversy about whether it is safe. So if this is a concern for your family, I wanted to mention it!

Of course, a creamy body lotion and diaper rash cream are a changing table staple. What I liked about Arbonne ABC products here was the rich and smooth texture and non-perfumey scent.

Now, while these products aren’t labeled organic, they still have some great qualities. Arbonne products are free of preservatives, phthalates, oils, animal by-products. The ABC Baby Care line does not contain “tear-free” additives. Also the Arbonne Ingredient policy states that they fully disclose all their ingredients, and list their safety specifications for making and testing products.

Buy it: Interested in checking out Arbonne products? Visit Katie and she’ll help you find whatever you need! She was helpful and knowledgeable about the product line, and quickly sent me any information I requested as I reviewed the products!

CONGRATS to our winner: Samantha!

Win it: Arbonne Baby Care (ABC) set which includes the ABC Hair & Body Wash, Body Lotion, Body Oil, Diaper Rash Cream, Sunscreen SPF 30+. ARV $74

Disclosure: I was sent a product to facilitate this review. I was not compensated in any other way, and all opinions are 100% my own.
