Bundle up for cold weather with Gymboree

One is walking now. The other, running, always running.

And forever they are wanting to be outside. Little boys just want to run about! In this chilly, make-your-nose-run late fall weather!? Yes, it calls for some serious bundling up!

Bundle up

Before they run off hand in hand (oh, that makes my mommy heart go pitter patter!), I add layer on layer, love upon love, kisses on red noses, and soft t-shirts and sweaters and mittens and gloves. I love dressing them in bold colors to cheer up the browns and beige of pre-snow scenes.

Cozy fleece-lined pants for little legs that must be running. High collared sweaters I can pull up around their necks. Warm socks.

Boots for our new walker, boots that thankfully Velcro closed for easy on and off.

Top it off with perky hats with tassels, and knit mittens… and we’re ready to face the cold! (I know, mittens never stay on babies for long but… they help!).

Bundle up

My heart just melts to see my two boys standing side by side, examining the frost on the grass, the crispy brown leaves, running up and down the sidewalk.

Bundle up

I love how they can play together now, the little one almost (but not quite!) keeping up with the older.

Their coordinating (but not entirely matching!) outfits are from the Snow Pals winter collection at Gymboree. Thick sweaters, fleece pants, and soft tees in bright greens and aquas brighten the cold days.

Here’s what my oldest is wearing:

Bundling up for cold weather with Gymboree means dress my children not just in fun styles, but in clothes made from quality fabrics that are thick and warm, and last through several hand-downs!

If you’re looking for holiday outfits for the family (great for photos and holiday parties!) Gymboree has several classic styles in their holiday family looks collections: tweeds, tattersal, argyle, and bowties make for adorable dress up clothes for holiday parties and church services!

Have you geared up your kids for cold weather yet? Winter can be a great time to be a kid… just keep them warm and snuggly!

Thanks to Gymboree for providing compensation via gift cards for this post. All opinions are my own.
