It’s taken till October to get the boys to stop sliding into their flip-flops from summer. They just adore going bare-or-nearly-barefoot! But with chilly weather finally a real thing here in New England, it was time to step into some great new fall / winter kids’ shoes from pediped®!
This post is in partnership with pediped® in exchange for product samples.
Kids’ shoes that fit well
You know I love the pediped® footwear system and I’ve blogged about their high quality kids’ shoes over the years many times. As the years go by, that we return again and again to the pediped® brand for their comfort, durability, and quality.
Their three lines of shoes: Originals®, Grip ‘n’ Go™, and Flex® are developed and designed especially for a child’s growing feet, and they’re even recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
We’ve traditionally chosen a casual shoe style for our son, so he can wear them for play and also for casual church dress. I’ve never heard my boys complain about the way their feet feel when they’re wearing pediped® shoes.
Here’s is romping through a park in his new Flex Gehrig sneakers – he loved the green stripe because green is his favorite color! The flexibility these new shoes gave him to run and play just filled my heart with joy!
The Flex Gehrig comes in a range of 8 color choices, from beige/light blue to a sparkly purple that is just adorable!
It’s also made with breathable mesh lining, and let me tell you, my little first-grader is starting to develop those stinky sweaty feet active kids can get! Phew! So I’m thankful for breathability!
Other reasons I love pediped shoes for my kids:
- machine-washable keeps shoes clean and fresh
- flexible rubber soles allow growing feet to move
pediped Flex-Fit System™ – a flexible foam insert that adjusts the shoe about a half size to extend the life of the shoe.

If you’re looking for kids’ boot styles, try the Flex Lionel for dress boots, Flex Max for hiking boots, or the Flex Cruz for a snow boot.
For back-to-school shoe styles, the Flex Gehrig my son modeled is a great in-between sneaker/casual shoe style. We’ve also loved the Flex Adrian and Flex Channing styles.
Don’t forget, pediped has adorable (and yet still comfortable!) girls’ styles for dress and play!
Whatever the reason or season, we’re confident as parents that when we put pediped shoes on our children’s feet, our kids are comfortable, protected, and developing healthy feet!
