The bamboo chop block is amazing and I would love it my son had celiac's disease and we have to make sure he uses items in the kitchen only for his food as to not cross contaminate them with Gluten.
I would love to have the Core Bamboo Chop Block for myself. My mom does a lot of baking during the holidays. The Nielsen-Massey vanillas and extracts would be the perfect gift for her. The best foodie gift I ever received was when my grandmother gave me several pieces of her cast iron cookware.

A kitchenaid stand mixer. I've had it for over 20 years and I use all the time.
I really like the bamboo cutting block. I never have received any kitchen stuff as a present, but I inherited my mom's Kitchenaid K5A stand mixer and I really love it. I've bought a ton of attachments for it and my fiance' uses it all the time now too.

I've never received foodie gifts but I like to go to Amazon's grocery section and look for unusual food ideas. For instance, my husband loves the flavor strawberry and I found strawberry kitkats. He loved that gift.

my favorite is the bees wrap! I would love to give or receive the wrap since it's also so eco-friendly. My best foodie gift was a jar of blueberry cinnamon jam. It was so delicious but unfortunately I didn't know who made it (no label on the jar). Guess I'll just have to learn how to make it myself!

I'd be pretty excited to try the Bees Wrap. I'm thinking my daughter might like some for Christmas as well. Best gift - our criteria was "round and green". My hubby gave me a cast iron green tea pot which we've used nearly every evening for years since.
