One “must” I have for our vacation travels is keeping the cooking (and clean-up!) as minimal as possible, while still enjoying delicious foods!
We also try not to eat out too often as that burns through our vacation budget quickly.
This past week at the beach house, thanks to the box of treats sent courtesy of Udi’s Gluten Free Foods, we had delicious breakfasts every morning with next to no effort!
Every day with Udi’s Gluten Free Gourmet foods was different, starting with cinnamon rolls topped with sweet icing! Both boys loved this sweet treat!
Then we enjoyed Mighty Bagels stuffed with hearty seeds, and dried fruits, topped with cream cheese (Note: these are really awesome toasted!).
For a quick breakfast, we crunched on Blueberry Cashew granola.
But in a special way. I made individual apple crisps breakfast bowls!
- 4 apples, chopped (peeled if preferred)
- Cinnamon Sugar
- Udi’s Gluten Free Granola
- Place one chopped apple each into four oven-safe bowls.
- Shake cinnamon sugar liberally over apples and toss to coat.
- Top with two handfuls of Udi’s Gluten Free Granola (flavor of your choice).
- Dot with butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 or until apples soften.
- To avoid burning granola, cover with foil.
No stress + delicious flavors = great vacation breakfasts! This would even work great as a foil meal for camping. I’d just add some lemon juice if I pre-chop the apples. Note to self!
We’ll keep enjoying the rest of the package Udi’s sent which included muffins, breads, and more bagels and granolas!
I know you’re busy with traveling, kids’ activities, and other summer adventures. Let Udi’s Gluten Free keep you going, minus the stress of prep and cleanup with their delicious gourmet breakfast options!
Have an Udi-ful morning!
What do you make for breakfast in the summer?
