Latch On! Milk Nursingwear Nursing Top Review

New moms deal with so many things. Post-partum recovery. Sleeplessness. Crying baby. House guests. “Baby” weight. We shouldn’t have to worry about whether or not we look good!
I personally have difficulty finding clothes I can nurse in and still feel good about. Most regular clothes are too tight to pull down, and I hate pulling shirts UP and holding all that fabric while my baby nurses (remember, I have the “energetic” one who likes to pull everything he can get his hands on!). The nursing tops I tried mostly gaped in front or rode up on me. My husband doesn’t call me the “Queen of Returns” for nothing – I probably ordered and returned at least 8 nursing bras and several nursing tops because of poor fit and uncomfortable fabrics! What can I say, I’m picky!
So when mail came from Milk Nursingwear, I dropped my fork (we were eating dinner), ripped open the box, and pulled the shirt on over the one I was wearing. I promptly declared the sleeveless babydoll nursing top the “cutest shirt I OWN!” not just the cutest nursing top!
I have worn this nursing top so many times since receiving it, and hands down, it’s my favorite nursing shirt! The lightweight cotton fabric is soft and silky – feels so velvety to on the skin. The fit is perfect (even after washing!) and the loose, swingy style drapes so nicely. The smocked top lifts easily so you can nurse your baby discreetly! When I told my mom and sister this was a “nursing top,” they were surprised, because it’s so fashionable…and subtle!
About the Company:
I love a company that works to support nursing moms, and Milk Nursingwear does just that! Milk Nursingwear was started by a mom-preneur who believed breastfeeding moms should be able to breastfeed comfortably, and still retain a sense of fashion. Motherhood has enough challenges… dressing for motherhood should be not be one of them!
I especially love how Milk Nursingwear carries a wide range of apparel – nursing tops AND nursing dresses, along with nursing bras, accessories (belly bands, privacy covers, baby slings, and more). I recommend you check Milk Nursingwear out for yourself or a breastfeeding mom you know – their clothing or gift cards would make a great gift item!
