Rain. Somedays I love the sound of it pattering on the roof. Other days I mourn the loss of Mr. Sun!
Love rain or hate it, you have to be prepared for it! Sometimes all you need is a light covering. Like the midweight raincoat from iPlayBabywear.
The coat has a soft, supple feel, unlike some of the heavier, stiff coats I have seen. I like that because it’s less bulky for little kids. Especially when kids aren’t walking yet, you don’t want them all bulked up with a coat.
With an elasticized hood and zip front closure, this coat really keeps out the wetness! And more to love – it’s PVC free, a polyurethane shell with polyester lining. At $40 it’s a bit high end for me for a raincoat, but the quality is great! I’m hoping we’ll get a lot of use out of it (wait, am I ASKING for it to rain!? LOL).

Yep – we’re gearing up for REAL underpants. Um… are we really ready for that? GULP! Not really! But it’s been cute to see my son get all excited about his big boy pants. And they are easier for him to take off than trainers, so I am going to use them at strategic times of day when I think he can keep them dry!
These undies are traditional briefs, but in fun bright colors and prints (for both boys and girls)! Cotton jersey with smooth leg bands and a fully covered elastic waist makes them comfy for him! $14 for a 3 pack.

He is so adorable and I love the raincoat. I just bought the cutest Toddler Jackets for my little boy at Burlington Coat Factory. We are officially ready for the rain, and I even got his winter coat early too. He is so excited at the idea of playing in the snow. With the deals we got I still spent less than my sister-in-law (with one coat from the department store for her son).
