Tips for Ebay Sellers (Hint: Get the App!)

I’ve been an Ebay seller for ten years. TEN! Yes, I’m an early adopter.

And did you know “there’s an app for that?” An Ebay Selling App that makes listing auctions fast and easy.

Here’s some tips for better Ebay selling:

1. Use at least three photos. Photos are the “thousand words” you don’t have time to write into your listing! Photos sell products! Take a photo of the whole item, a close up, and then any brand/labels that might help sell your item.
2. Write a good title. Think about how you might search for this item yourself. If buyers can’t find your item, they can’t buy it!
3. Offer free shipping. I know I always search for items with Free Shipping first!
4. Set clear policies. Buyers want to know what they are getting, and that includes your customer service. Be very specific and clear with things like return policies, handling time, etc.
5. Scan your item! It’s my favorite feature of this new Ebay app! Scan all types of codes on your product to upload more information into your item description. The more buyers know, the more likely they are to buy!

Selling on Ebay is a great way to earn extra cash for the holidays. And buying on Ebay is a good strategy to save money or find rare and unique items for people you care about!

I’ve gotta go run and play with this app some more! It’s kind of addicting since it’s so easy to run around the house, snap photos and list items at a moment’s notice!
