Delicious Soaps from A Slice of Delight

You wouldn't think of taking your coffee, almond biscotti, or birthday cake into the shower... unless... you've heard about the delicious smelling soaps from A Slice of Delight on Etsy!

A Slice of Delight's owner, Hilary, makes absolutely decadent, handcrafted glycerin soaps that make you want to linger in the bath.

She crafts soaps in citrusy scents: Lime Coconut, yummy-licious scents: Almond Biscotti, even scents for men: Spiced Mahogany.

The ingredients are clearly labeled on each bar, and don't include long lists of unpronounceable chemicals! (She uses reputable soaping industry suppliers, many locally, and supports indie based companies!).

I've tried many of her soaps and each one smells exactly like its name (Oh it is SO hard to explain how perfectly they smell via a blog post!). But the best part is, as delicious as the soaps smell... they LOOK even better! Each soap is intricately designed with colors, layers, even sparkle! Then cut into bars that might be round, smooth, or serated! I imagine it must take her forever to chop up the chunks for her birthday cake bar!

Hilary creates a treat for the eyes and the bath!

My new favorite is the Black Raspberry Vanilla, which I have been eyeing for some time, because who can resist the bold geometrics and the delicious smell of raspberries!? The beautiful pink, purple, red, and fushcia is so fitting for Valentine's Day! Hubbies - you need to hop over to Etsy.com and pick up a few of these bars for your wife! (Don't forget, wives: she has soaps for men too!).

Just look at these vibrant Valentine's Day Soaps!

I think a gift basket of lovely handmade soap makes a great gift (and I have been gifted, and have gifted others with A Slice of Delight!! So I know!).

  1. Vanilla Lavender - Handmade Natural Glycerin Soap

I also liked the Oatmeal honey something, but I always get oatmeal soaps, so I'd love to try something different. Thanks for the giveaway! I love to find new stores.

  7. Would absolutely love the bubble gum soup! Either for myself (because we all know we are kids at heart) or for my daughter with Rett Syndrome, I believe it would really bring her sensory issues of smelling into play during bath time!!

  13. Courtney sent me a sample bar a couple years ago - it was right before I started making my own soap. I am one of those people who will not buy something if I can make it. This kind of soap I cannot make - it is too pretty. I would love to see the bubble gum in real life - it just looks so, well, delightful. What an appropriate name! I am not sure what I think about chocolate looking soap, though. I like the ones with delights.

  15. oh my gosh these are awesome! I love soap that has amazing scents that aren't your typical "soap" smell! For gifts, for decoration that smells great, to hide in the wardrobe, and of course for me lol It's hard to pick just one scent... the Black Raspberry & Vanilla or the Pink Sugar or maybe even the Chocolate Covered Strawberries would be my pick 🙂
