Prayer Poems for children {Day 19}

A simple prayer for our boys - from the passage 1 Peter 4:10:

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Lord,

as night and grace fall slow

on these little sons,

let their heart receive Your grace--

that perfect gift--

that they may give.

Your gifts are perfect

Your way is perfect

Let them walk in it perfectly

Let them love

Let them have a serving heart

towards each other:

when the toy they have is wanted

when the cookie half is unequal

when the parent's lap is already full

when their brother says "I can't"

let them give in, give up, and give all.

grace upon Grace.
