I was inspired to write some haiku by a blog I follow (Adventures in Babywearing) - a good project to lift the spirit and show my utter thankfulness for my dear little one and my family! Here goes:
Tiny eyelids droop
Lashes flutter soft on cheeks
Sleep, baby, sleep now.
Gentle cooing smiles,
shining eyes, and wordless love:
You leave me speechless.
Thank you God for our little boy!
