My body can hardly believe it’s been eighteen months since I carried you around inside me. Since you burst into this world ninety minutes after labor started.
But here you are, walking about, babbling away, making your way.
Here’s a little bit about you, Baby E, that I want to remember.
Vital Stats:
You weigh twenty-seven pounds, just about eight pounds less than your big brother! Although you’re only eighteen months, we’ve been putting you in 24-month clothing.
You have thirteen teeth – and have had your first dentist visit! Funny thing – I was worried you were missing an eye tooth, because you have five teeth along the bottom, instead of six. Turns out, your eye teeth haven’t even come in yet, and that fifth tooth is an EXTRA! Wow!
When you’re tired, you fall asleep in about sixty seconds, which is quite lovely for us. And you mostly sleep through the night regularly, although there’s a few early morning cuddle times!
Your Favorite Foods:
You still love to eat – a lot. But since Christmas have developed a bit of a sweet tooth, always asking for “Gookie!” (cookie). Which could be anything from an actual cookie to a cracker to a muffin.
You have gotten a bit pickier about what you eat, and will emphatically say, “No!” if something doesn’t suit you. And you have this hilarious way of making a completely disgusted face and pushing your two hands out in front of you to emphasize your point! I wish I could get this on video sometime!
Your Words:
You’ve started talking quite a bit! Here’s a little word list: Mommy, Daddy, Hi, Bye, Cookie, Milk, More, Bible, Up, Down, No, Nice, Bubble, Doggy, Fish,Truck, Ball, This, Go, All Done, Cracker, Baby, Car, Ear, Eye, Nose, Beep, Sock, Book.
The funniest thing you say is, “Where are you?” you’ve been saying this for awhile now whenever you can’t find someone. I don’t recall how it started, but it’s adorable. I’ve been trying to get a clear video of this for some time.
Your Personality:
You’re a rather feisty little kid. You climb all over everything, try to walk right off stairs and chairs and couches. You started walking around sixteen months, and are still working on your steadiness, but you love to casually stick your hands behind your back and walk around like you own the world!
You can be a little rough sometimes, so we’re working on “Nice” touching, so now you’ll stroke our face and say “Niiiiiiice!”
You love to hug, kiss, blow raspberries on our cheeks, and snuggle.
You absolutely adore your older brother, and are eager to share all his toys. But you’re also frequently willing to share your toys in return. I foresee a beautiful friendship!
We love watching you grow and develop, and we love that you’re our little boy!

In general I think many sizes tend to fit until the "age" of the clothing. For example, 6 month clothing is for 3-6 months of age and 18 month clothing often is great for 12-18 months.
