Know what’s a good time? Having a good printer. I’ve had the sad misfortune of having my printers give out on me in the past. And NOT having a printer? It’s not fun at all!
Today I’ll share with you several printable project ideas courtesy of Epson, and the Epson XP-800 Small-in-One printer they sent me!
So many printable project ideas for Home Organization, I’ll just name my most frequent:
Menu Plan Charts
Daily Schedules (with all the times I print these out, thank goodness this printer lets me replace individual ink cartridges!)
Grocery Lists (you’ll want to check mine out, I promise!)
Homeschooling printable project ideas:
Scanning kids’ work and art for safekeeping. (Okay so it’s not “printable” but with the XP-800, scanning is a breeze with document feeder or flatbed scanner).
Craft projects and templates (high speed printing means kids aren’t waiting around for materials
Teacher-created worksheets – I have created many charts for tracking achievement, scavenger hunt lists, counting charts, chore charts, and more! (The Epson prints with vivid color and sharp text, so the pages look exciting and engage kids).
Here’s some printable project ideas for kids:
Coloring sheets – you could copy favorite pages to color, or print out free online coloring sheets! (use the 2 sided printing feature to save on paper!)
Photo books for family face recognition practice (great for babies)
Paper dolls (use card stock, and yes, the Epson XP-800 handles specialty papers like my 60 lb weight card stock beautifully! It even has a rear-tray feeder for printing onto printer-ready CD/DVDs)
Holiday printable project ideas abound!
Decorative paper chains (use for an Advent Calendar countdown or any special day countdown!)
Greeting cards (or thank yous!) kids create on computer software (the double-sided printing feature is fantastic for this!)
Photos for Christmas cards (brilliant colors and PC-free printing of borderless pictures! Not to mention printing from the iPad, iPhone, tablets and smartphones, to send relatives all those great photos taken on devices!)
I use my printer daily (and often!) to print everything I need to keep the home organized, the kids occupied, and the holidays exciting! Plus, the Epson XP-800 has a very small footprint, so it doesn’t crowd out all the other gadgets I like to use!
Could you function without a printer? How about a printer as a Christmas present? I’ve had that on my list in years’ past!

Hi. Have you chosen a winner yet? I've been checking the rafflecopter and just wondering if I should uncross my fingers and toes to win. :-)
